ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Account Executive will work across multiple client marketing campaigns in conjunction with an Account Manager and/or an Account Director. The Account Executive reports to the Account Manager and is responsible for providing support on the implementation and execution of agreed marketing plans, and to assist with monitoring and evaluating the success of those campaigns. In addition to working closely with the Account team you will be expected to build and maintain positive relationships with appropriate suppliers in order to effectively collaborate on delivering all campaign materials within agreed deadlines.
The scope of campaign support required will vary from one client to the next but will likely include meeting preparation and note-taking, compiling and distributing reports and updates, artwork trafficking, copywriting and proofing, overseeing print production and distribution and administration of grassroots marketing promotions.
Job Specification
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The post holder will be required to coordinate multiple tasks and handle a busy varied workload. Previous experience in a marketing assistant or junior arts administration role would serve as a perfect route into this post, however we recruit based on aptitude and potential so welcome applications from all backgrounds and experience levels.
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent written English and an understanding of how to write effective marketing copy.
Good communication skills and some experience of working within a team.
Proven planning and organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise competing work demands to meet deadlines.
An interest in the cultural sector, and enthusiasm for the ever-evolving marketing landscape.
Strong administrative skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Good digital literacy particularly in Google Suite.
Experience with CMS for email campaigns and basic website updates.
