The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury is one of the UK’s most successful large-scale regional theatres (UK Theatre of the Year in the Stage Awards 2022). Our mission is to be the engine house for the performing arts in Kent, shaping the spirit of our region.
We are recruiting an Assistant Producer with a passion for theatre and exceptional attention to detail to join our Producing team for a fixed-term period of 6 months on a freelance basis ahead of our first large-scale touring production, The Party Girls.
The role would suit a great communicator and problem solver, committed to teamwork and the best outcomes. There will be budgets and spreadsheets to maintain so solid numeracy and IT skills will be essential, as is some experience of working to industry best practice alongside managing actors, creatives and production teams.
