Simon Friend Entertainment is looking for a talented Associate General Manager to join our team on a fixed term basis from August 2024 until July 2025.

This Associate General Manager will have a particular focus on the international engagements of Life of Pi, taking on tasks relating to the middle east and India engagements and leading on setting up an engagement in the Far East. We are looking for someone who has a passion for theatre and excellent communication and administrative skills. Experience of theatre production is essential and an interest in commercial theatre and international work is desirable. You will need to be able to work as part of a team and to progress tasks independently, know how to prioritise your work load and adapt where necessary.

 

Simon Friend Entertainment is an independent production company producing work for the West End, UK Tours, International Touring and Broadway. Current and upcoming productions include: The multi-award winning Life of Pi (West End, Broadway, Touring), Here You Come Again (Leeds Playhouse and UK Tour), Drop the Dead Donkey (UK Tour), Paranormal Activity (Leeds Playhouse) and Minority Report (Nottingham Playhouse/Birmingham Rep/Lyric Hammersmith). Recent productions include The Crown Jewels (Garrick Theatre), The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (UK Tour), The Da Vinci Code (National Tour), The Grinch (NBC TV show and UK National Tour), The Height of the Storm (Wyndham’s Theatre, West End), The Messiah (Tour and The Other Palace), The Girl on the Train (UK Tour), and a feature film of Florian Zeller’s play The Father. www.sfentertainment.co.uk 

Title: Associate General Manager

Dates: August 2024 – July 2025

Fixed-term, full-time position

Salary: £35,000

Probationary period: 8 weeks

Notice period: 3 months

Hours: 10am-6pm Monday-Friday in our London office. WFH option on Fridays. Some out of hours and away from office work will be required eg marketing evenings, technical rehearsals, press nights.

Office location: Noel Coward Theatre, St Martin’s Lane, WC2N 4AU

Holiday: 21 days per annum pro rata excluding bank holidays. The office is closed for a week over Christmas in lieu of toil throughout the year.
