Chair

BML seeks to recruit a new chairperson for the Board of Trustees, now that we have recruited several vibrant, new board members. A registered charity, BML is recognised by Arts Council England as the only organisation in the UK offering ongoing professional development for emerging musical theatre writers. Many of our members are beginning to build careers, being commissioned and winning awards (including Olivier and BAFTA nominations). We seek someone who is clear-headed and practical, with the time to keep the board members and subcommittees motivated between board meetings, (which occur four times per year). Business and legal knowledge would be really useful, as well as a love of creative excellence and creative artists (and musical theatre!).
