| As Deputy Head of Wigs, Hair & Make-Up Assistant, you’ll work with the Head of WHAM, Production Manager, General and Company Management. Your focus will be on supporting the smooth running of production through effective communication and maintaining excellent standard across the WHAM team to ensure seamless backstage operations.

| Responsibilities and Duties |
· Ensure all wigs are cleaned, maintained, and performance-ready for each show.
· Take an active role in teaching new members of staff, deps and local dressers and wigs staff and work closely with the theatre staff to ensure the smooth running of the production.
· Attend weekly Head of Department meetings in the absence of the Head of WHAM. · Work in full compliance with Disney’s Health and Safety Policy and maintain knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.

| What We’re Looking For: |
| · Background: Experience in a similar role within a large-scale musical production, particularly those involving international casts and the opening of new shows, is highly desirable.
· Technical Skills: Knowledge of wig construction, maintenance, and materials is essential; barbering or hairdressing skills across all hair types are desirable · Textured Hair Expertise: Confident and experienced working with textured hair and wigs · Wig Maintenance: Skilled in repairing, styling and preserving wigs to a high theatrical standard. · Period Hair Styling: Experience in period-specific hair styling for stage productions. · Make-Up Knowledge: Understanding of theatrical makeup and application techniques, including fashion and stage-specific products. · Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cast, creatives, and crew · Health & Safety Awareness: Sound understanding of health and safety practices in a backstage environment.

| · Contract Type: Fixed-Term 48 hours per week
· Start Date: Early 2027 · Run Dates: 2027-2028 · Hours: 48 hours per week · Schedule: Monday-Saturday schedule with a midweek and weekend matinee · Health & Safety: This role will require the candidate to understand and follow the Health and Safety Rules & Regulations at the production
