Summary
More Details
For the right person, this could be either a freelance or fixed-term employee contract. You will be a full-time member of our technical team, with supervision of small teams during your shift. We are looking for three individuals – all multi-skilled with a broad knowledge of technical theatre production, in addition to expertise in either lighting or sound.
You will require experience of running fit-ups in a professional theatre, with the strong ability to communicate with staff and visiting companies. Good understanding of electrical safety alongside knowledge of ETC EOS consoles and safe rigging of a variety of fixtures is essential. You will need to be comfortable joining a small team working to tight deadlines whilst also being capable of working independently. You will be guiding and training some of our junior team members as they look to develop their professional technical knowledge, through exposure to best-practice experiences.
These are temporary roles in the first instance, with the potential to become permanent contracts in the new year if desirable. We can potentially help with finding accommodation in Truro and some travel costs to re-locate.
