Marketing Director (Maternity Cover)

Summary

We are looking for a Marketing Director (Maternity Cover) to lead our Marketing and Audiences Team Whether on our stages at our home on The Cut, touring to schools and community centres across South London, premiering a play in the West End or on Broadway, streaming our work across the country and around the world – the Young Vic is actively working to be a theatre for everyone. We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to provide maternity cover for a 6 – 12 month period from September 2024. This is a crucial role reporting directly to the Executive Director.

The main purpose of the role is to maximise box office revenue and the financial sustainability of the Young Vic in harmony with the organisation’s values by:

  • designing and delivering marketing, sales, communication, and audience development strategies
  • accurately forecasting sales to support artistic programming
  • driving dynamic and ambitious sales strategies
  • managing and motivating a skilled marketing team
  • collaborating on communications strategies with the Head of Press
  • developing the brand identity and global profile of the Young Vic
