Membership and Networks Lead


Scotland’s membership organisation and sector support body for the performing arts is seeking to recruit a passionate, skilled and dedicated new Membership and Networks Lead. The Membership and Network Lead will have a proven track record of success in developing and implementing membership strategies or data-driven marketing campaigns and relevant experience in a similar role in a related area, for example, in marketing or sales, customer relationship management, membership, project or event management.

This is a time of immense challenge, change, renewal, and opportunity. Working with FST, you’ll play a vital role in the future of this essential part of the cultural sector, as we support and champion the performing arts. Following a restructure earlier in 2024, five newly created roles are now open for applications:

Advocacy Lead – 0.8 FTE (£34,300 per annum, pro-rata £27,440)
Change Programmes Lead – 0.8 FTE (£34,300 per annum, pro-rata £27,440)
Digital Communications Co-ordinator – full time (£29,843)
Membership and Networks Lead – 0.8 FTE (£34,300 per annum, pro-rata £27,440)
Operations and Finance Co-ordinator – full time (£31,229)

The Membership and Networks Lead will play a vital part in improving the diversity and enhancing the participation of FST’s members through the transformation of our membership model and the ways members connect and engage with FST and with one another.

They will work across four key areas:

  • Membership development strategy
  • Services and benefits
  • Networks and events
  • Communications and relationship management
