Lighthouse, Poole is one of the UK’s largest regional arts centres. Presenting over 350 live productions and 500 film screenings each year across four main auditoria as well as an expanding Creative Engagement programme. As an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation, we pride ourselves on maintaining a multi-artform received programme that is considered high in quality, credibility, and features something for everyone with diversity at its heart. The programme is the main driver for all that we do, and we work with numerous producers and promoters to deliver it.
We are looking for a detail focused Programming Assistant with exceptional administration skills to join the team responsible for planning all of this activity. You’ll enjoy working in a role where you can use your excellent IT and communication skills to help ensure the effectiveness and smooth running of both the department and the wider organisation. You’ll also have experience of working in a cultural environment, ideally within a multi art-form venue.
The role is for 30hrs per week (Monday – Friday working pattern to be agreed, but a minimum of 4hrs to be worked each day). Additional hours can be provided on a casual basis working as bar staff / steward (training provided) to create a 37.5hr per week contract if desired.
