Our schools programme is a vital part of our Participation work, providing creative and artistic opportunities for children from 5 to 18 years old and supporting both primary and secondary schools with innovative projects. The Almeida’s schools programme has youth theatre “hubs” in local primary schools, a cohesive programme of work to support 11 – 18 year olds to watch theatre, take part in workshops and make shows, and partnerships with local SEND schools. All of our work with our partner schools is free, and we support teachers too, creating digital resources and offering teacher training.
The purpose of this role is to work with the Director of Participation and the Participation Producer to work with teachers to manage and run this programme of work, and to take the lead on producing projects, which will involve creative producing, administration, and partnership building. It will also involve working closely with other departments to create digital resources.
