ATG Entertainment is proud to stand at the forefront of the live entertainment industry.

Our expertise and capabilities enable producers and other creatives to bring their visions to life and create unforgettable performances for audiences, presented in our landmark venues and delivered with exceptional hospitality. It is the passion of our teams, that cover every discipline across the live entertainment industry, that underpins our continuing strategic growth and success.

Based in the centre of Bristol and with one of the largest theatre stages in Britain, The Bristol Hippodrome has established itself on the touring circuit for many major productions, thus becoming known as Bristol’s West End Theatre. We originally opened on 16 December 1912 and can seat 1951 guests over 3 levels. We play host to large scale touring musicals, plays, opera, ballet and pantomime, as well as children’s shows and established comedians and music artists.

Stage Door is the entrance to our busy theatres for staff, visiting companies and contractors. The first point of contact for the companies bringing their shows to the Bristol Hippodrome, this is a responsible reception role in a dynamic, interesting environment. We’re looking for new members of the team to join us in time for reopening later this summer.

As a Stage Door Assistant you’ll be responsible for ensuring the security of the building, operating the theatre’s switchboard and providing a great welcome to everyone visiting us. You’ll be part of a friendly team who cover Stage Door on a rota basis; when fully reopened shifts could be during the day, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

If you have the skills to achieve our goals and an affinity for our values we’d like to hear from you! Please download a copy of the job description for further details on the role. Experience from within the entertainment sector is not essential and we actively encourage applications from people from the widest range of backgrounds, including those currently under-represented in this industry.

People are at the heart of our success. We are passionate about bringing great live experiences to the widest possible audience; about giving the world’s best creative talent the stage it deserves; and about providing our people and partners with opportunities to realise their full potential.

We are a Disability Confident Committed Employer, which means that we are taking action to ensure that people with disabilities and long-term health conditions feel supported, engaged and able to fulfil their potential in the workplace. We will offer an interview or recruitment event to disabled candidates who tell us they wish to participate in the scheme and who demonstrate in their application that they best meet the essential criteria for the role. Where we receive more applications than we are reasonably able to interview for any given role, we will retain applications for the next available interview opportunity wherever possible.

If you’d like to discuss accessibility prior to applying, please review our job description where you will see a contact e mail address to request a confidential discussion.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and strive to provide a stage for everyone. Onstage and off, we hold ourselves accountable for nurturing an inclusive culture. Find out more about us and our values at and
