Nottingham Playhouse welcomes over 120,000 visitors to our theatre every year and it’s our Welcome Team members that make sure all our audience members and other visitors have an enjoyable and memorable experience.
As a Welcome Team Duty Manager, you will provide a warm welcome and an outstanding customer experience to our users. You will also be managing the Welcome Team performance staff to deliver excellent customer care and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment.
We’ll provide training in Health and Safety, Customer Service, Disability Awareness and Security to ensure all our audience members and visitors have a wonderful experience during their visit.

Job Specification
The Welcome Team Duty Manager positions are offered as a fixed-term (30 October 2023 – 14 January 2024) zero-hours contract within a monthly rota. Shifts are a minimum 3½ hours. As our performances and other events take place throughout the week, you’ll need to have good available for evenings and weekends and availability for weekday daytimes would be an advantage.
