Inclusive Recruitment

Inclusive Recruitment Guide

We have created our inclusive recruitment guide to help you recruit more inclusively.

One of the core aims of SOLT and UK Theatre's workforce development strategy is to ensure that that the theatre and performing arts workforce is diverse and represents the UK population.

One way industry employers can help achieve that is by reviewing recruitment practices. Our inclusive recruitment guide breaks down the recruitment process to help you write a better job pack, remove bias from your selection processes, and offer suggestions on where to post your job ads to reach a wider talent pool.

This guide is concise, actions-focused, and highlights examples of best practice from existing resources (with specific page numbers so you can go direct to the relevant points). It also recommends organisations and consultants who can assist you with your recruitment.
