Job Specification
Sherman Theatre is seeking a dynamic and experienced Development Manager to build on the success of the recent artistic programme under the leadership of Rachel O’Riordan, to continue to work closely with key trusts and foundations, to drive individual giving campaigns and to explore opportunities with corporate sponsors to secure support for the company’s work into the future. This is a key role within the organisation, central to helping us to deliver on our ambition to create and present theatre which excites audiences in Cardiff and beyond. 
This post is offered as a 2 year, fixed term contract. 
Welsh speaking candidates are particularly welcome to apply.

Main purpose of role: 
To advise the Executive and Senior Management Team on all development issues and to create and implement strategies to develop strong and sustainable relationships with a diverse funding and sponsorship resource, resulting in a dependable income stream for Sherman Theatre, with both unrestricted income and restricted fund projects.
