  • Click on 'Add New Record', complete details and click 'Save'
  • If you have any difficulties with this, please email some brief wording and a link to your vacancy details to ukt@soltukt.co.uk and we will post the vacancy for you.
  • Please note, if you are a Professional member and you would like to post a job ad, there will be a fee of £75 + VAT. All other membership categories can advertise free of charge.
  • If you are a Partner member, please email us with the details of your vacancy and we will post it on your behalf.

Job Specification
Derby Theatre is looking for an experienced Stage Manager and Deputy Stage Manager for the following productions: 
 
Deputy Stage Manager for What Fatima Did… by Atiha Sen Gupta, directed by Sarah Brigham. 
Rehearsals commence Monday 4th February with final performance Saturday 2nd March 2019. 
 
Stage Manager for Jungle Book* adapted by Neil Duffield, directed by Sarah Brigham. 
Rehearsals commence Monday 4th March with final performance Saturday 20th April 2019. 
*Jungle Book is a fully integrated BSL production so we are particularly interested to meet Stage Managers with BSL training. 
 
Both will rehearse and perform in Derby. 
 
You will be an experienced professional with the relevant necessary skills to undertake the role. Derby Theatre has pioneered a new vision of what a regional producing theatre can be with its ground-breaking Learning Theatre model, which was established in 2013.  This has transformed the theatre from a traditional producing house into an organisation that places learning at the heart of its mission, and as a member of the stage management team, you will contribute to learning activity. 
 
These roles are offered on a fixed term contract and Derby Theatre operates within the UK Theatre/Equity Subsidised Agreement for MSRL 2.
