  • Click on 'Add New Record', complete details and click 'Save'
  • If you have any difficulties with this, please email some brief wording and a link to your vacancy details to and we will post the vacancy for you.
  • Please note, if you are a Professional member and you would like to post a job ad, there will be a fee of £75 + VAT. All other membership categories can advertise free of charge.
  • If you are a Partner member, please email us with the details of your vacancy and we will post it on your behalf.

Job Specification
The Stephen Joseph Theatre board is seeking an inspirational and experienced arts manager to work alongside Artistic Director Paul Robinson to lead this iconic theatre-in-the-round, situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK, in the next stage of its exciting journey. 
Our new artistic programme is making a big impact with audiences with 2017 and 2018 being the most successful years in the theatre‚Äôs recent history. For local residents and the thousands who visit the beautiful North Yorkshire coast, the SJT provides year-round entertainment - a vibrant mix of in-house shows (eight a year), quality visiting productions, music, comedy and films - not to mention a celebrated OutReach department working with the community. 
The board are now seeking an individual with the vision, skills and experience to make a major contribution to the future success of the theatre, take responsibility for the successful running of the theatre and create an environment in which artistic excellence can flourish.
