As a member of the venues’ senior management team the Theatre Manager will assist the Theatre Director in achieving the objectives in the venue plan and promoting the company values. The Theatre Manager will be responsible for ensuring that operations are efficient, customer focused and enhance the reputation of the theatres.

As a member of the venues’ senior management team the Theatre Manager will assist the Theatre Director in achieving the objectives in the venue plan and promoting the company values. The Theatre Manager will be responsible for ensuring that operations are efficient, customer focused and enhance the reputation of the theatres. 
 
Excellent with people, you will understand the needs of the business, your team, customers and performers, and be able to balance and manage conflicting priorities effectively. You will be a team player, knowing when to direct, when to support and when to provide hands on assistance. 
 
This is a role that demands the ability to operate in a fast changing environment, where efficiency and effectiveness are paramount. You will be flexible, a good problem solver and able to think and act independently. In addition, you must demonstrate an appetite for challenging the status quo and making change happen, whilst working within the policies and procedures or a large, multi-site, international organisation. 
Essential attributes: 
 
• Numeracy and literacy skills. 
• Interpersonal and communication skills. 
 
Desirable attributes: 
• An interest in theatre. 
• Experience of managing a team. 
• Experience of a retail environment. 
• Experience of managing performance. 
• An innovative and confident decision maker.   
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment, managing multiple objectives simultaneously.
