Coventry has won the bid to become City of Culture 2021. There’s never been a better time to join the team! 
 
The Belgrade Theatre Coventry is seeking a fixed term Senior Producer as part of a ground-breaking project which will be delivered as part of Coventry’s City of Culture year in 2021. This post is the producing function for the Theatre’s programme of professional work which to date has been undertaken by the Executive Director. 
This is a new position, one of six that this project is requiring, which ideally will be filled by people from diverse backgrounds such as African, Caribbean and/or South Asian heritage to join the Theatre’s team to deliver a diverse programme of work for Coventry City of Culture 2021. 
 
This position is currently fixed term until March 2022 but given the organisational changes the Theatre expects to be making over the next few years, this position could become permanent for the right candidate.

Recruitment will take place in two stages.  First, a short-list of applicants will be drawn up and they will be invited to an interview. If you are invited to an interview we will contact you with more information and to find out whether you need us to make any access arrangements. We will pay reasonable domestic travel expenses for all interview candidates. 
 
We will aim to reach a prompt decision after the interviews and aim to contact all short-listed applicants as soon as possible after a decision has been made.  All applicants for jobs at the Belgrade Theatre will be contacted in writing whether or not they have been short-listed for interview.
