Job Specification
We are looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic, experienced individual to join our fantastic Technical team as Chief Electrician. 
In general terms the Chief Electrician will ensure that The Empire Theatre is maintained in excellent condition for all visitors, performers and staff and will demonstrate high standards of customer care at all times. The Empire  Theatre is a Grade II* listed building and you will be mindful at all times that maintenance or additional works may be subject to listed building consent. 
The main duties are: 
• Responsibility for the stage lighting and audio services of all stage performances and related activities within agreed schedules and budgets. 
• To work as part of the Technical Department in all duties relating to technical operations of The Empire Theatre, including shows, hires and events, fit-ups and get-outs as well as the maintenance of the theatre and building systems back and front of house. 
• To assist the Technical Manager to manage and develop the technical services for the theatre and to deputise for the Technical Manager in his absence.
