The Edinburgh Playhouse is seeking a dynamic Marketing & Communications Assistant to join its Marketing & Communications team. 
 
The Edinburgh Playhouse is the largest all seated traditional theatre in Europe and part of the Ambassador Theatre Group, the largest entertainment company in the world!  Playing host to the biggest names in musical theatre, comedy and live music including the recent Scottish premiere of Matilda The Musical and sold out performances of Kevin Bridges and The Proclaimers.  This year will see the much anticipated return of Disney’s The Lion King. 
 
This is a fast paced, creative and fun environment, and we are looking for a new team member to join our small team and to help drive forward the marketing and communications for the venue and visiting shows. 
You will be an excellent communicator and ideally have experience in an arts marketing environment although this is not essential.  A good knowledge of Microsoft applications, digital communications and social media platforms would be advantageous.  You will have a proactive approach to all things marketing and PR and be confident in pitching ideas no matter how crazy! 
 
This is a pivotal role, providing support to the wider team whilst taking the lead on individual projects.  The ability to work on multiple tasks with attention to detail is essential. 
 
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join a fun & outgoing team within the iconic Edinburgh Playhouse.
