Job Specification
New Wimbledon Theatre is the closest regional theatre to London with a large seating capacity (1,600), good technical facilities, excellent transport links, a 100-seat Studio and a strong customer offer. 
The Senior Technician assists the Technical team in all duties relating to technical operations of the New Wimbledon Theatre and Studio, including shows and events, fit-ups and get-outs as well as the maintenance of the theatres systems and equipment back and front of house. In the absence of the Assistant Technical Manager, to lead in the LX and Sound disciplines. 
With demonstrable experience in technical theatre, the ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in theatrical lighting, sound and building maintenance and will relish a new challenge in a busy, dynamic and developing theatre. 
This is an exciting role in one of ATG’s flagship theatres and will contribute to New Wimbledon Theatre’s long-term growth strategy.
