Job Specification
The Bristol Hippodrome is one of the country's top, family-friendly provincial theatres, which proudly continues to stage major West End and Broadway productions. 
We are currently looking to add to our pool of casual dressing / wardrobe maintenance staff for our upcoming run of Disney’s The Lion King. 
Due to the nature of the show we are looking for staff that can commit to the entire rehearsal and show period. 
29th July – 23rd November 2019. 
Key Responsibilities 
• Assisting the visiting wardrobe team in line with company policies and procedures and current health and safety 
• Following the dressing plot as set out by the visiting company.. 
• Setting and maintaining quick change areas. 
• Moving costumes and accessories around the backstage area. 
• Work collaboratively as a team member. 
• Proactively identifying tasks which need to be done and take responsibility for completing them. 
• Ability to work effectively under pressure 
• Ability to work as part of a team 
• Willingness to work the required hours, including matinees and evenings, weekends and public holidays. 
• Good communication skills 
• Good timekeeping 
• Basic sewing skills 
• Previous experience in theatrical disciplines 
• Advanced sewing skills 
• Previous experience of undertaking wardrobe maintenance duties
