The Old Vic is London’s independent not-for-profit theatre, a world leader in creativity and entertainment. The Producer is a lynchpin role at The Old Vic and a key member of the leadership team. The key feature of the role is to support the Artistic Director in the successful delivery and smooth running of all Old Vic productions, ensuring that the theatres’ programme of in-house productions is creatively planned to capture all opportunities, and that it achieves both financial targets and the highest artistic quality. The Producer works with the Artistic Director, Executive Director and Casting Director to plan each Season of work, and also works closely with the General Manager to deliver the productions in the Season. 
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in arts management at a senior level within a producing environment, excellent commercial instinct and business acumen as well as the natural ability to foster an enjoyable and supportive environment in which creative teams and performers can flourish
