Job Specification
The Mercury Theatre, Colchester is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and shape an ambitious 3 year project that will provide much needed business support to over 100 businesses working across the creative industries and the performing arts located within the East of the country. This exciting new opportunity, funded by the European Regional Development Fund and based at the Mercury Theatre in Colchester will be housed within a new purpose built incubation space designed to enable collaborative innovation. 
As Project  Manager you will be able to inspire and work with a diverse pool of artistic talent from across a wide range of creative industries. You will be able to identify and find routes to support these creative entrepreneurs’ individual business needs in order to design an innovative and intensive programme that will help address the barriers to growth that specifically exist within the performing arts and will help the programme achieve a lasting legacy. 
The successful candidate will have the vision, skills and experience to lead this creative industries support programme.
