Salary £21,000 – £22,000 per annum, plus benefits 
Performances Birmingham Ltd is the charitable trust that manages Town Hall Symphony Hall (THSH) as part of two iconic venues at the heart of Birmingham. Town Hall Symphony Hall’s mission is to inspire a love of live music, through performance, participation and learning. Each year, we welcome over half a million people to around 800 concerts and events. 
This exciting and new position will work within the Sales and Marketing team to deliver campaigns for specific genres of the event programme, with the responsibility for the planning and implementing all elements of marketing campaign activities and special campaigns working closely with the Marketing Manager. 
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 2 years’ previous marketing experience, with a flair for creative and high ROI activity along with and a good understanding of campaign planning and of on and offline marketing collateral production. 
They must be experienced in campaign budget management and possess an ability to monitor and control costs, have an understanding of research techniques and data analysis, good proofreading and time management skills and an ability to prioritise workload to manage multiple deadlines in a pressurised environment. 
Experience of using Microsoft Office packages, website content management systems, CRM systems, and social media is a must, as is the ability to communicate well with various stakeholders and partner organisations and understand the needs of internal colleagues, external promoters/clients, customers and suppliers, and build and maintain effective working relationships. 
As THSH is a live music and entertainment venue, the ideal candidate will need to have an enthusiasm for a wide range of music/entertainment genres, preferably Classical and Jazz music and the flexibility in terms of working outside of 9-5 office hours to attend or assist on some events.
