Job Specification
The Dominion Theatre is looking for a motivated Box Office Clerk to join the busy Box Office team ready for the re-opening of the theatre in September with Big the Musical, followed by White Christmas and then The Prince of Egypt in 2020. 
The Box Office clerk will be responsible for selling tickets to customers in person, and responding to requests by phone from agents and individuals including those with specific access needs, up selling and maximising income whenever possible. They will deal promptly and professionally with all ticketing requests and provide excellent customer service to all patrons of the theatre, maintaining the highest standard of presentation at all times and demonstrating a positive team orientated approach. 
This role would be ideal for someone with customer facing experience in a sales environment who has an interest in live entertainment and or events, and is comfortable using computers. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills in face to face interactions, over the phone and via email. 
Experience working within a theatre is not essential, however, since they will be selling tickets for live events, applicants should have a genuine interest in this sector.
