Job Specification
The Lyric Hammersmith is one of the UK’s leading producing theatres. The Lyric’s dual commitment to producing the highest quality contemporary theatre alongside nurturing the creativity of young people, and the quality, range and scale of its recently extended facilities, make it unique within the theatre ecology of the UK. 
 
We are now seeking a Lighting Deputy (maternity cover) to join the Lyric’s Electrics Team within the Production department. They will support the Head of Lighting, working with other technical departments and visiting Directors, Designers and Technicians to present both Lyric and other companies’ work to the highest possible technical standard in a friendly and efficient manner. This includes assisting with the smooth running of all get-ins, fit-ups, production periods and get-outs for all productions and events at the Lyric. The Lighting Deputy will also support the electrical maintenance of the general building. The successful candidate will work well within a team, demonstrate initiative and adaptability, and be able to work well under pressure. 
 
It is intended that this maternity cover post will run until Saturday 16 May 2020.
