Job Specification
MAST Mayflower Studios will open in late spring 2021 as a multi art form performance and participation space and a creative hub. 
We are aiming to recruit people who are committed to developing the potential of the creative community in Southampton, giving opportunities for all and helping achieve Southampton’s aspiration to be City of Culture in 2025. 
Working in our Partnerships (Engage) department: 
Community Programme Coordinator 
As our Community Programme Coordinator you will 
- Provide administrative, facilitation and project support to the Engage department 
- Support the Community Programme Leader to reach local communities through Arts engagement 
- Deliver workshops and talks 
Ideally you will have experience in: 
- Facilitation and administration skills 
- Be an excellent communicator 
- Experience of working with community members of all ages 
- Knowledge of Safe Guarding procedures 
- Qualification in an arts subject 
Hours of work will be varied including regular evenings and weekends so flexibility is essential but based on a 30 hour week. Salary will be up to £16,480 pa with benefits.  Interviews will be held on 19 April via Zoom.
