Job Specification
We are looking for an Associate Head of Individual Giving: Appeals, Memberships and Legacies to join us on a Maternity Cover. 
 
This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in the theatre’s recovery from the Coronavirus pandemic. The post holder manages two fundraisers and is accountable for raising funds from mass audience initiatives. The successful candidate will lead a major new public appeal in support of the NT’s Reimagine Rebuild Campaign and work with our Individual Giving Manager to revitalise our thriving legacy programme. 
 
The successful candidate will have the following: 
 
— Significant fundraising experience with a proven track record of strategically planning and implementing successful public appeals using direct mail, e-comms, digital and social media 
— Outstanding written communication skills, including experience of creating persuasive fundraising materials in print and online 
— A creative mind-set and proactive attitude 
— Demonstrable ability to work with conflicting priorities while paying attention to accuracy and detail and staying calm under pressure 
— Excellent budget management skills, including tracking expenditure, projecting income and reporting to boards and senior leadership
