2021/2022 is a year of recovery and transition for TRP including the recruitment of a new Chief Executive to lead the charity from 2022. Our build-back responds to Arts Council England’s Let’s Create strategy that provides us with the opportunity to renew TRP’s vision and creative strategy in a way that is meaningful and relevant to our diverse communities. It’s an exciting time to join TRP in therefore, with the opportunity to influence and be a part of the changes these new strategies will create. 
 
The Digital Content & Media Producer is a new hands-on role that forms part of the Media & Communications team. The post holder will tell TRP’s story in new and compelling ways, helping us engage more deeply with communities and build the awareness of the impact our creative activity generates.

The Role 
 
Principal responsibilities 
 
With the Media & Communications Manager, identify and prioritise TRP’s key messaging inline with the Communications Planner and organisational objectives 
 
Work closely with colleagues across the organisation and partners in other companies, create and produce content campaigns that delivers those key messages, motivating, inspiring and informing stakeholders, our audience and staff and the public 
 
Be comfortable using a professional camera and Adobe Creative Cloud to capture, edit and package content to a good quality standard 
 
Determine the right mix of written, photographic and video material to maximise the reach and impact of each story or campaign 
 
With the Marketing team, use your knowledge of SEO and social media channels to distribute content that builds our visibility and reach, introducing TRP to more communities in new ways, and showcasing our organisation as a leader within the creative sector 
 
Contribute to the development of TRP’s tone of voice and ensure all communications meet the requirements of our values and brand 
 
Evaluate and report on the success of campaigns and wrap learnings into future activity, making recommendations where applicable 
 
Monitor social media channels for additional advocacy and engagement opportunities 
 
Support the development and implementation of a TRP photographic archive/library and keep it up to date across all areas of TRP’s work 
 
Keep up to date with digital content trends and development and share knowledge across teams 
 
Assist in coordinating press night invitations and tickets 
 
Assisting in the organisation and execution of PR events, press visits and campaigns 
 
Show press co-ordination (getting press contacts for upcoming shows and press assets for shows, images, press releases, syndicated interviews etc.)
