Job Specification
We’re looking for an approachable and self-motivated person with some Duty Management experience to join our Front of House Team in this customer-facing, supervisory role. 
Most of your work will be performance managing shows, and will include working evenings and weekends. Whilst managing performances, you are responsible for the safety and comfort of the public in the building. You will also offer some logistical and administrative support. 
You will support the Front of House Manager and will work closely with Communications Team and wider company to implement joint strategies to sustain and increase sales and to deliver performances to a high standard, and in line with public health guidelines laid out by the government in order limit the spread of Covid-19. 
The role is key to maintaining the Front of House department; to manage, train and support the Front of House team for the most efficient and customer-focused treatment of our wide-ranging audiences; to manage performances and performance administration in co-operation with the Front of House Manager and to deputise as the primary point of contact for all public matters at the weekend and during holiday periods.   
The Front of House department comprises a Front of House Manager, Deputy Front of House Manager, three casual Performance Managers, and a team of 25-30 casual ushers. Some of these ushers specialise as Usher + Access Assistants who work with ushers who have additional needs.   
Contract: Part-time (24 hours per week), Fixed Term contract of 8 months; our ideal start date for this role would be 1 October 2021. We will consider applications for flexible working.
