Job Specification
The Torch Theatre Company Ltd (the Torch) is looking for a dynamic, professional and committed individual to lead our small finance team who can demonstrate the ability to deliver to a high standard on all aspects of finance work. Theatre experience is desirable but not essential. 
This is a senior management role with specific financial management responsibility for the strategic and operational development, implementation and on-going oversight and delivery of financial policies, practices, processes and systems; production of the annual budget and monthly management accounts and the production of quarterly finance reports; monthly payroll production; co-ordination of the external audit and year end statutory accounts; relationship management with banks, pension providers, HMRC and other finance related organisations; providing comprehensive support to colleagues, budget-holders on budgeting and reporting; supporting the Executive Director in financial analysis, planning, management and reporting to the Board of Management (the Board). 
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in financial management with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive, common sense approach and close attention to detail.
