Salary - £650 per week 
Fixed term contract (ideal start from 13 December through to 14 May 2022) 
Hours - A maximum average of 48 hours per week, normally worked over 6 days with one day off per week. This agreement will entail Sunday working. 
We are looking for a Wigs, Hair and Makeup Assistant to join us on a fixed term contract for our West End transfer of The Ocean at the End of the Lane. The National Theatre’s critically acclaimed production based on the best-selling novel by Neil Gaiman, adapted by Joel Horwood and directed by Katy Rudd, is transferring to the West End following its sold-out world premiere at the Dorfman Theatre in 2019. 
The production will open at the Duke of York’s Theatre in 2021. This role will be a key member of the shows first ever West End company and the National Theatre’s first show back in the West End. The role will be based at the Duke of York’s Theatre. 
The successful candidate will have the following: 
- Previous experience in an equivalent field essential 
- Proficient skills in hairdressing and wigs maintenance. 
- A good knowledge and level of technical ability in make-up and associated 
- Prosthetics experience desirable 
- A willingness to learn and undertake training if necessary
