Job Specification
The Role 
On joining TRP, we will introduce you to our core values and work through how they will help you deliver an excellent technical service. 
Here are some of the key duties you will undertake: 
To participate in fit-ups, shows and get-outs of touring productions, co-productions and TRP solus productions across our stages, performance spaces and at TR2. There are physical demands associated with this area of the role along with the need to work anti-social hours at times. 
To play an active role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of stage and flying equipment within current theatre best practice. 
To carry out general maintenance within the department as required using some basic carpentry skills. 
Attendance and contributions at regular technical staff meetings. 
Involvement in learning and self-development opportunities including Engagement and Learning activities, support of Apprentice schemes and training courses as appropriate. 
Any other reasonable duties as may be requested from time to time including cross-venue working, support of toured work externally, and courses or reconnaissance work outside of Plymouth. 
To be aware of the Health and Safety policies of the company and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation. 
To help implement and upkeep TRPs values-based system built on Quality, Collaboration, Creativity and Diversity. 
Engagement with IT systems at TRP, including staff email and the Cascade HR system.
