About The Role
You will provide a full and professional technical support service ensuring we carry out our production activities with flair and settling for nothing but the best. You will assist the technical management in all technical related duties related to our productions on and off stage including get-ins, get-outs, show running, maintenance of stage equipment and general back-stage housekeeping.
We will expect you to enhance our standing for operating a safe working environment, ensure high standards are maintained and deliver faultless customer service. Whether supporting training activities, liaising with visiting productions, carrying out maintenance or preparing events you will make your mark and build your reputation.
You must have experience of working with large scale musicals, ballet and opera or relevant maintenance activity. Essential too, is knowledge of stage, counter weight flying, electrical and sound technical equipment to operator and rigging level. You will also have a good understanding of H&S legislation
Highly organised and a good communicator you are effective at multi-tasking and have an eye for detail. Reliable, your flexible approach will be complemented by good team working skills.
ETC EOS, 3 day rigging for the entertainment industry or NRC Level 2, IPAF and/or PASMA would be an advantage.
44 hours per week annualised
