Job Specification
We are seeking a Lighting Technician to join wider technical team at Curve on a Fixed Term Basis. This post is joining the full time technical team at Curve to cover the upcoming busy Winter Season and will include work on our programme of Visiting Work and Made at Curve Production of Wizard of Oz. 
You will require experience in professional theatre to fulfil this role. As a member of the Lighting Team you will require good knowledge in skill in the safe rigging of a wide variety of Theatre Lighting Equipment. Basic electrical safety will be essential. You will need to be comfortable joining a large team working to tight deadlines whilst also being capable (after being familiar with the venue) of working independently. On occasion you will be expected to lead a team of casual technicians, maintaining the high standards in work and safety expected across the teams. Knowledge of ETC Eos Lighting Control would be advantageous. 
This role is a Full-Time Fixed Term contract on an averaged Annualised hours contract of 42 hours per week. Regular Evening and Weekend work will be required.
