Job Specification
Richmond Theatre has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to lead the back of house team as Technical and Buildings Manager. The role is a senior position leading the technical, maintenance and stage door teams within this busy and historical regional venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for all technical and safety aspects of shows and maintenance within Richmond Theatre whilst ensuring the highest standards are achieved in the presentation of the building and systems within. 
 
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in technical theatre and have a proven background in leading and developing teams. You will need to be able to think strategically and plan works short and long term. You will be a good team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate others. A good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and the ability to remain calm under pressure are also essential. You'll be a key player in presenting our prestigious programme and the role will be varied, rewarding and part of not only a cracking venue operations team but also a dedicated broader ATG company family. 
 
This contract is on an annualised hours basis and hours will vary on a weekly basis. For further details, please download a copy of our job description. Duty shifts are part of the role to keep you in touch with the operations of your team and department and setting the example with our great producer welcome.
