Job Specification
The New Wolsey Theatre is looking for a Café & Bar Manager who has a passion for food, drink and customer service and will be excited to help make our NWT Café & Bar a continuing success. You 
You may not have been a manager before but you will have worked in a café, a bar, a restaurant or in a hotel or another relevant area of the hospitality industry and have experience of working in a team and understand how important it is that a team works collaboratively together to provide brilliant service. You will be excited by food and drink and will have creative ideas about how to plan menus and develop an offer that will be just right for our friendly, welcoming theatre. 
This is a permanent role, based in Ipswich. The New Wolsey Theatre is willing to consider flexibility regarding the hours within a range of between 30 and 40 hours per week. Shift times vary, and will include evening and weekends. 
We’re interested in hearing from candidates with some (but not necessarily all) of the skills and experience outlined in the job description. 
We believe that the welcome given to audiences from our brilliant Café & Bar team is just as important as the performances in the theatre auditorium and we are very proud to have been recently shortlisted for the UK Theatre’s Most Welcoming Theatre Award.
