Job Specification
Do you love the thrill of working in a fast-paced entertainment environment? We currently have great opportunity for a Deputy Operations & Events Manager to join us. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team at Swansea Arena and to be directly involved in the delivery of world-class performances and events!

Deputising to the venue’s Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the management of all types of events including theatre performances, music gigs, and comedy shows – working closely with promoters and tour reps to ensure all visiting companies have a first-class experience whilst on their Swansea tour stop. As well as this, you will work closely with the Conference and Events team in the management and delivery of other venue hires such as conferences, banquets and exhibitions.

The successful applicant will have a good eye for detail, be an excellent problem solver, and enjoy the planning and delivery of events from site visit all the way through to settlements and invoicing.

Health and Safety is an important part of this role – supporting the Venue Management Team in the delivery of all risk related KPIs, and the creation of appropriate risk assessments across anything from the use of a meeting room through to a 3500-capacity rock gig with full security.

Done this exact job before? Great – we would love to hear (and learn!) from you by having an expert join our team!
