Deputy Technical Manager - Stockton Globe

We are excited to recruiting a Deputy Technical Manager to join our friendly team over at the wonderful Stockton Globe!
The role of Deputy Technical Manager will report to the Technical and Buildings Manager (T&B Manager) and be responsible for the leadership of the Senior Technician and venue casual technicians. You will be responsible for the supervision of any external agency teams booked to work through the venue.
Key responsibilities include:
To deliver Technical support for all Productions and Events across The Globe and TheLink spaces.
Be responsible for the leadership of technical teams working within the venue.
Act as venue technical lead on productions and events, working alongside Duty Manager and Production/ Event leads.
With Senior Technicians ensure all venue technical systems and equipment are effectively integrated into touring systems, allowing visiting productions to best utilise the facilities the venue has to offer.
Work with the T&B Manager to ensure all technical personnel are scheduled efficiently and effectively - producing rosters which meet budget and production requirements.
Ensure that the producers, promoters, touring companies, and production teams receive the highest standards of customer care.
Arrange for hire of equipment or external staff as required for Production of venue needs.
Work with T&B Manager on the planning for all productions and events and to ensure that accurate information regarding technical, production and health and safety requirements are supplied in advance.
Work closely with the wider venue team on events and engagement activities within the community.
Play an active role in ATG-wide technical, production and health and safety activities.
Ensure CDM Regulations are adhered to by all personnel working within the venue on load ins, fit ups, and load outs. This includes all venue team, touring parties and third-party workers.
