Job Specification
Due to an impending retirement Newcastle Theatre Royal are looking for an experienced HR professional to work in a small fast paced department to create and deliver a new ‘People Strategy’ for the charity. 
 
We are looking for an individual with the required experience, skills, knowledge and qualifications, but most importantly strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate positive relationships across the organisation at all levels. 
 
The Head of People will be responsible for the ongoing development, delivery and success of the organisation’s People strategy, driving a values-based culture across all personnel engagement with staff, freelancers and volunteers. 
 
Working with the Senior Leadership Team and department heads the post holder will deliver a people culture that successfully aligns technical HR practice and value driven approaches. They will provide guidance and support to managers to promote the effective delivery of strategic objectives and people processes.
