Book now to exhibit at TheatreCraft, the UK’s largest offstage careers event for 16-30 year olds

We would like to invite you to be a virtual exhibitor at this year's TheatreCraft careers event held online for the first time this year and in-person at the Royal Opera House on Monday 22nd November 2021.

 What is TheatreCraft?
TheatreCraft is the UK’s largest offstage careers fair for 16-30 year olds which this year celebrates its 15th annual event. Free of charge to attendees, this year for the first time attendees can join in online and have the opportunity to join in from across the UK.

This year’s TheatreCraft consists of 8 industry panel talks with Q&A and networking and 25+ workshops, covering themes relating to the multitude of careers and training opportunities available in the theatre sector.

We are expecting at least 1,500 attendees online (with the capacity for 3,000) through the Whova App, and an additional 800 in-person attendees at Royal Opera House.

TheatreCraft is run in partnership by Masterclass, Society of London Theatre, Mousetrap Theatre Projects, Royal Opera House and UK Theatre, with funding from Arts Council England and White Light.

92% of attendees in 2019 agreed that TheatreCraft provided a good introduction to theatre careers.

How can I promote job and training opportunities to the attendees?

We have space for 60 exhibitors in the virtual marketplace, where young people can meet arts organisations, education providers and venues and engage in conversation, make connections, gain 1-1 careers advice and find out about any job, apprenticeship or training opportunities you are providing.

Why exhibit with TheatreCraft this year?

We have a strong track record of engaging young people either working or aspiring to work offstage in theatre. In 2019 we had our highest attendance of 1,360 attendees in person engaging with 36 theatres/theatre organisations and 27 education providers.

This year our exhibitors’ marketplace goes online and is offered at the discounted rate of £100 for the full, one day event.

Exhibitors also receive promotion on TheatreCraft social media, links on TheatreCraft website, inclusion in at least one monthly TheatreCraft newsletter, and listing in the TheatreCraft digital event programme.

100% of organisations who exhibited in 2019 would exhibit again.

What does the exhibitor marketplace include?

Your virtual exhibitor booth allows you to tell people about your organisation via handouts and videos uploaded on your own Whova profile. As always, you are able to talk one-to-one with attendees at their request, this time via Whova’s chat or video call functionality.
