The Head of Risk & Safety provides UK Theatre members with advice and guidance on a range of subjects including health & safety, risk management, counter terrorism and security affecting members and the theatre industry. Member services include developing best practice, identifying industry training requirements and evaluating emerging industry risks. We will make every effort to find imaginative and original ways to engage with members, ensuring high standards of safety and risk throughout the industry.

SAFERtheatre
SAFERtheatre is an exciting new campaign to assist the theatre industry in promoting, improving and maintaining health & safety standards.
It’s been developed so members look inside their organisations and establish, or improve, basic health & safety controls to mitigate risks to staff. It will also demonstrate externally to customers, investors and other stakeholders that you have taken key health & safety protective measures. It will support the HSE “Helping Great Britain work well” strategy in tackling ill health, managing risks sensibly and acting together to make health & safety an integral part of everyone working within our industry.
UK Theatre can now offer you a number of extended Health and Safety Consultancy Services which consist of bespoke training, including the IOSH Managing Safely course and safety management auditing. If you would like to discuss this further please contact phillip@soltukt.co.uk
