The Theatre & Touring Summit (formerly ‘Symposium’) returns on Monday 26 June 2023Taking place at The Brewery, London, the event brings together theatre professionals from across the UK to highlight the issues facing the sector, and explore solutions to improve the landscape for theatre in 2023 and beyond. 

The Summit is designed to strengthen connections between industry peers, to promote best practice insights and to unearth practical solutions to enable our members to continue to bring high-quality theatre to wider audiences across the UK.

This is a in-person conference. All speakers and attendees should attend the venue in person.

Accessibility Information

The Theatre and Touring Summit 2023 will take place at The Brewery, with a drinks reception taking place nearby at The Barbican.

Attendees who require a Carer or Personal Assistant to accompany them can book a free Carer ticket by emailing events@soltukt.co.uk.

  • Both venues are wheelchair accessible, though there are limitations in The Barbican conservatory (information below).
  • BSL interpreters will be attending each session.
  • Hearing loops will be in place in all three conference rooms.
  • The Barbican is 0.1 miles from The Brewery, and guides will direct attendee's along the pathway between venues.

  • Access Guides for The Barbican are available to read.
  • The reception takes place in The Barbican Conservatory:
  • The Conservatory is on the gallery floor (Level 3), reached via the main lifts. Automatic glass doors (120cm wide) lead outside from the gallery floor and continue down a ramp (1:12). The Conservatory is on your right, entered through double doors (135cm wide). The Sculpture Court is on your left, up three steps or via a ramp.
  • There is limited access for wheelchair users and people with restricted mobility due to steps in some areas.
