Access Tender

Tender for Trainers for UK Theatre and Society of London Theatre’s D/Deaf and Disabled Access Training

Thank you to everyone who made a submission. The deadline for tenders closed 23 February 2018.

UK Theatre

UK Theatre made a commitment in our 2017-21 Business Plan to support the sector in developing best practice for D/deaf and disabled people to access theatre – in terms of both audiences and the workforce.

SOLT

SOLT has also been increasing its work in and around audience access including their e-newsletter and the Access London Theatre Guide. Official London Theatre, SOLT’s audience facing website, has recently been re-launched with full integrated access listings and access information.

UK Theatre and SOLT are working together on this suite of training and conferences with a view to meeting needs of the workforce, audience and the sector as a whole. This training work will sit alongside our work on advocacy and best practice.
