UK Theatre Awards: 2019 and beyond

The UK Theatre Awards are Changing: 2019 and beyond

The UK Theatre Awards are changing. Refreshed and more relevant to today's industry. With new categories and a new way for UK Theatre members to get involved in deciding who will win - celebrate your achievements with us.

For 27 years the UK Theatre Awards have been the only nationwide awards to celebrate the outstanding achievements of regional and national theatre. Now, as the industry evolves, so do the Awards celebrating its achievements.

  • Awards categories have been refreshed to reflect the contemporary priorities of the UK’s theatre industry. Categories are divided into On Stage and Off Stage awards. See the full list of categories in the tab below.
  • Members can now get involved in the nomination process in 3 ways:
    • Use our Productions' Calendar to champion your show to members and judging panellists throughout the year
    • Nominate (via a survey) one outstanding production/creative and/or performer in each of the On Stage categories.
    • Submit an application form an Off Stage award - open now!
