About the role

ENB is looking for a capable and engaged Artistic Administrator to support the Artistic Director and Ballet Futures team, helping to coordinate priorities, schedules and workflows that underpin the Company’s artistic activity. You’ll play a key role in keeping the Artistic Team running smoothly, providing proactive administrative support, managing relationships, and contributing to the effective delivery of ENB’s artistic and Ballet Futures programmes.

Your main responsibilities as Artistic Administrator will include:

  • Immerse yourself in the work of the Artistic Team, gaining a thorough understanding of the planning cycles, priorities and workflows that bring the Company’s artistic programme to life, as well as familiarisation with Artistic collaboration with other teams and departments across the organisation.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Artistic Director’s key workstreams, strategic objectives and professional relationships, supporting the effective delivery of the Company’s artistic vision.
  • Develop good understanding of the workstreams and priorities of the EA and provide a cover service in their absence.
  • Provide a comprehensive, proactive and anticipatory administrative service based on a good understanding of priorities, regular consultation and excellent judgement.
  • Develop strong working relationships with all key stakeholders and main points of contact, including other departments.
  • Provide a professional service as needed in meeting and greeting guest creatives and visitors to the AD office and the Artistic Team.
  • Provide an effective administrative service to the Ballet Futures team, contributing to the effective delivery of programme activities and events.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience of providing a first-rate administrative service to senior executives, working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of complex diary management and supporting internal and external client groups.
  • Proven ability to exercise good judgment based on a thorough understanding of business priorities.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver accurate and high-quality written work, with the ability to highlight relevant information.
  • Ability to get up to speed with volume information including names and relevant details to support relationship building.
  • Good listening skills and attention to detail, with ability to ask for additional information as required.
