A working knowledge of Spektrix is desirable, along with experience of working within a team (as well as independently) and the ability to deliver great customer service. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a positive problem-solving attitude, and will be comfortable working across multiple projects at one time.

 

Our Box Office team is dynamic and fast-paced, working closely with multiple departments across the company and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving ticket sales and delivering an outstanding customer experience across Opera North’s performances.

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Lead on setting up events, liaising with internal and external programming teams, supported by the Box Office & Ticketing Lead.
  • Work with the wider team on offers, promotions and merchandise to upsell.
  • Prepare sales and data reports, and other research tasks as required.
  • Supporting the Box Office & Ticketing Lead with pricing and seat management tasks for all venues.
  • Lead on group bookings, working closely with the Finance team.
  • Assist the Box Office Supervisor with customer support and event management.
  • Proactively maintain customer records in accordance with Data Protection legislation.
  • Share customer knowledge and feedback with the team to improve the customer experience and inform marketing communications.
  • Any other tasks as required.
