The Young Talent Producer will be responsible for cultivating, managing and overseeing all aspects of Young Talent programmes, including Springboard, the Lyric’s flagship training programme for theatres future artists. Producing the Bill Cashmore One Act Play Award, Young Lyric Associates, Born in the Borough and artistic response projects to our main house productions.

This role also supports our Springboard alumni, many of whom are now working professionally in theatre, film and TV Credits include: West End productions, regional theatre, BBC TV series and ITV commercials. Others have gone on to seek further training and or are working within the creative industries.

This role is a key member of the Young Lyric department, the Young Talent Producer contributes to the overall strategic development of the Young Lyric programme and plays an active leadership role across the team.

This post will require a current or application for a Disclosure and Barring certificate to meet with safeguarding compliance.

Representing Opera North in a professional and positive customer focused manor, through providing comprehensive reception services and administration support in a sustainable way. A key role within the Facilities Team supporting efficient running of Opera North Estate.

BACK TO THE FUTURE: The Musical is set to embark on a UK Tour. Based on the Universal Pictures/Amblin Entertainment film, this acclaimed production features a book by Bob Gale and original music and lyrics by Emmy and Grammy Award-winning Alan Silvestri and six-time Grammy Award-winning Glen Ballard.
Positions will be working over a 7 day 6 weekly rotational shift pattern and there will be a mixture of rota days off and weekend working. The hours of operation are between 8.45am – 8pm Mon to Sat, then 10.45am – 8.00pm Sun with shifts set a week in advance. Overtime is offered as and when required.
The Operations Coordinator will support the Director of Operations in ensuring an excellent experience for all customers in line with the ambitions and priorities in the Marlowe Theatre’s Business Plan.
