Are you an experienced Deputy Stage Manager and have worked on large scale, large cast productions?

If so, you could be just who we are looking for to join our team as our Freelance Deputy Stage Manager on our autumn Season 2026 for the Sheffield Theatres productions of Twelfth Night, directed by Jamie Glover.

As Deputy Stage Manager will complete a team of 5 Stage Managers working to realise the production. We are seeking an individual who will have the skills and experience to participate in all aspects of Stage-Management with highly developed focus on supporting the rehearsal room and well as demonstrating excellent communication, organisational & team working skills.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrative experience in:

  • working in a regional repertory theatre
  • supporting the requirements of the production
  • achieving the highest standards in stage management
  • managing petty cash and working within budget
  • Show calling to a high and consistent degree
  • Producing clear and concise show paperwork
